Vision

We are quipping future leaders to change cycles of poverty in their environments through healing, hope and community empowerment.

Mission

The mission of The Aloe Family Inc. is to provide opportunities for empowerment, well-being, self-sufficiency and healing to resilient communities and individuals facing challenges of poverty or lack of family support

Values

Compassion (everyone deserves a chance)

Commitment (resilience, professionalism, good stewardship)

Collaboration (teamwork, accountability)

What We Do

Sustainable, Empowering, Trauma Informed, long term support.

Job Skills Training

At each site, we empower and mentor cohorts of entrepreneurs through business and job skills classes and apprenticeships and small business loans for sustainable ways to overcome cyclical poverty and build confidence and resilience.

Education

In Nashville, the majority of kids we serve are immigrants and refugees. We don’t want language barriers to be another challenge for them. Each week we offer homework help for the students and free English classes for the Adults.
In Mexico, we have the “Aloe House” which not only houses students in need, but also acts as a free resource for students in the community to have access to computers, printers and school supplies. We also offer tutoring, apprenticeship programs, and support for students internationally without access to school.

Hope and Healing

In order to allow individuals to focus on sustainable growth, we must at times address physical , emotional, and spiritual needs. All of our program staff have been trained and certified in Trauma Competent Care, and we provide students and participants with resources for therapy, fresh food, emergency care and more.
